Flower Pictures

During this morning’s weeding session, another zinnia plant was found. The flowers weren’t open on it yet, but here are  few pictures of our flowers:

The fourth one may be another white with yellow center, but only time will tell. Here are some new pictures of the marigolds and alyssum:

It is 101 degrees outside right now so no pulling of weeds. The chickens were given a quart package of frozen diced yellow squash to help keep them cool. They ate it like it was candy. We also turned on the sprinkler in part of their pen for an hour and will repeat the sprinkler in another part in about 15 minutes. They have laid most of their eggs behind one of the boards in the pen instead of in the nesting boxes. I think it is probably cooler. Also, Springy has been moved back with the rest of the flock. The babies are big enough to defend themselves against her antics.
