We have had blessed rain during the last two days and nights and today we had some clouds and lots of sun. When I was able to head out to the garden this morning to pick and weed, it seemed like everything had jumped up overnight. The okra was 6-12″ taller, the green beans were standing taller, and the plants that had not been producing suddenly had produce on them:
There were also two butternut squash on those plants, however they must have been too shy because their picture did not come out. I was able to pick a zucchini squash, a few cherry tomatoes, and two Roma tomatoes that need to complete the ripening process. Tomorrow I will check the older green beans again and see if there are any more, check the pepperoncinis and jalapenos, and also the okra pod again to see if it is ready to be harvested. Thank you, Lord for the rain and sunshine. It came at the perfect time for my garden.
