Spring pictures

After being woke up by a brief hailstorm at 5 a.m. yesterday morning, I went out after daybreak to see how things had fared. Thanks to God’s watch care over the garden and flowers, the following pictures were possible:

Soon we will have yellow and orange marigolds to add to the colors in this bed. The marigolds are coming up from scattered seeds left over when I pulled the dried plants out of the bed. Everything is green and the grass is growing. Even the tomato and pepper plants in the garden probably need to be uncovered. Now if we can just not get any more lows of 47°–the temperature at 7 a.m. today!
